I first heard Gary's name because of Nightwish cover, which made me check out Gary's original, but it was Tommy Johansson and his passion for Gary's music which made me dive deeper into his music. I really love all 3 versions, my favourite usually being the one I'm just listening to. One of my favourite Gary Moore's songs (even when I didn't know it's Gary who sings it) has always been Still Got The Blues

Nightwish only covered it. Gary wrote this way before Nightwish were even thought of. Nightwish's cover is pretty good though. But impossible to beat the original 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 R.I.P. Gary Moore 💔

Thanks for educating me. I had not heard of Gary before. When I looked up the song and his name, it looked to me as if he was part of the Nightwish band. I know better now😁👍 Thanks

@@djno-jreacts Yep Nightwish didn't form until 1996 but well worth listening to their cover. It is with the original singer Tarja Turunen. Tarja is amazing and the latest singer Floor Jansen is on another level. Enjoy the music 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

@@djno-jreacts Gary is Northern Irish and started his career in a band called Skid Row. Not to be confused with the American band by the same name. He played for awhile in the band Thin Lizzy before going solo. He played many genres but he came back to the blues and that is what most people remember him for. Sadly passed away in 2011
