People talking daft with nostalgia tinted glasses on. He would not even be close to that. You have to be exceptional on the ball now but in Nevilles day it was either pass it down the line to Beckham in a traditional wingers position or hoof it up field. Both Glasgow clubs got absolute bargains, Larsson being a 600k signing and McCoist being a 180k signing. Both ended up being European Golden Boot winners and also won countless trophies each, good times watching those two when Scottish football had some real quality back in the day. Larsson with a 51-goal season and McCoist with two consecutive European golden boots, amazing they played in Scotland for so long.

Torres was one player I wanted at United after following him at Atletico. Utd had a agreement done after Van Nistelrooy left. But Atletico wanted 30m which Sir Alex thought was too much. This was slightly before my time I was to young and I was amazed how good Cantona and Schmeichel was in Particular, the amount of goals Cantano made from nothing against the run of play was ridiculous and the amount of one-on-one's Schmeichel won felt unreal watching it. The difference between players taking a while to settle in to United and Liverpool in those days was the fact United had much higher standards within the squad. So they might see “it as it took a year to reach the required level” where as for Liverpool it might seem as though the reached the required level straight away because the only target was to make the top 4, so the pressure and the scrutiny on individual performances was never remotely similar. Still probably isn’t close now. Everything United do is still headline news.

You have almost 1.2 million subscribers (Well Done.) and people don't need to see what they can expect. 99.9% of people are going to watch if they're interested in football. Let me give context to the Torres transfer, that transfer window in January 2011, Chelsea's priority was to sign WAYNE ROONEY from United. They agreed personal terms and Rooney went to a point of seeking a transfer request, of course Fergie rejected the request and blocked the transfer in the final week and Chelsea were left without their number one target in the final week of the window, that's when they went for Torres and sealed the deal on deadline day. Sometimes those nearly transfers of between 09-11 for Chelsea could have had them having one of the most potent attacks of all time (Aguero, Robinho and Neymar)

I change preset by accident A LOT. Preset up and down should absolutely be reassignable. I also don’t like that when I go out of gig view to preset view and want to move from bank 1 to 2, the screen changes to edit view - now I can’t see my preset names and I’m guessing which footswitch correlates to which preset 🤷🏻‍♂️

Soo glad McTominay is going somewhere he is hopefully appreciated. United ‘fans’ are a disgrace with their treatment of him. I’ve seen him be motm in the Europa final, home to Barca, and away to PSG. He’s scored against Arsenal, City (a couple) and Chelsea. Not to mention saving them multiple times last season.

@@messiandronny3704if that were the case, that’s fine, of course. I put ‘fans’ as the vitriol he gets every game online is absolute madness, and not based in reality. He’s a fine player. You can argue he isn’t ’United class’, but I’d disagree there. He loved the club and was often played out of position, in a struggling team, under multiple managers. Throughout that period - he’s often stepped up with performances, and he never shirked responsibility. More like him is ‘United’ to me - players like Nevilles, O’Shea, Smith, Fletcher, Butt. They might not have had the X factor - but they were the backbone of United - and McT definitely did not deserve the nonsense he got online, and those doing it were not real supporters, by the definition of the word.

25:19 one of the reasons why Liverpool was not that successful in the 90s and the 2000s is because that team was not quick at all. One of the reason in 2001/02 that Liverpool finished second is because they had deadly pace upfront with Michael Owen and Nicolas Anelka.
