Very true! It is also sad that his career was hurt because his unknown-at-the-time aspergers could cause him to come across as egotistical in interviews and he got a bit of a reputation for that. It is all the more sad when you realize it was out of his control and he was trying his best to connect with the interviewers. But at least he has settled into an extremely loyal fanbase now who truly enjoys his music and respects him.

You know what I feel quite left out myself I cant say I'm a fan from years ago I used to like him years ago but got interested in other musicians simon Le bon david bowie to name a few but these days I dont have david anymore he sadly passed away so In actual fact i became Gary numans fan during the very first lockdown I saw the music video intruder recognised it was Gary numan and that was it I fell in love with him
