Nice, genuine guy, looks people right in the eye. After all the wilderness years where he kept plugging away making albums its nice to see him gaining a new appreciation from people - and also to enjoy it again!

Danthehorse agreed though it’s funny you say that « about looking people right in the eye » because he has Asperger’s syndrome and it’s. Social convention that aspies generally hâte

MY first album was pleasure principle back in 79.I love the way he's come back with credibility appealing to a whole new audience, not many manage it,and he's not based in nostalgia.

Ultimate fantasy, on a quest for interesting vinyl, I find not only a Gary Numan album but an actual Gary Numan! Great bloke, whom I dream to make some armour for one day. So Gary, if you want something crazy for your next music vid, you know where I am. Thank you and keep up the great work.

I'm so glad for Gary that he's learned to embrace the awesomeness that was 'The Pleasure Principle' album. Quirky? It was absolutely groundbreaking for its time! I played my first vinyl copy, quite literally, to death. Thank goodness it came out on CD as even I can't wear one of those out! And by the way, the 'Splinter' album is great! :)

It was different when it came out for sure. Nobody in the business knew what to do with it but those who were just listeners who bought the albums loved it. It took you right into that Phillip K. Dick / Blade Runner Scary Numan space. I'm a guitar head and loved it :-)

Splinter is a great album. It IS commercial in a sense. LOVE HURT BLEED was made for radio or a movie soundtrack . It is heavy and catchy. Glad to hear he likes PP again!! It is just too cool to not like. I love replicas and Telekon also. It just seems that Pleasure principal is a bit more cohesive maybe. The songs go together very well. They are fairly short and similar in sound . I just realized I view this album the way I view dark side of the moon. The cohesiveness is just amazing . I can't really separate the songs (like on a compilation mix tape) without feeling wrong. Those songs belong together. Like dark side

It's funny how, back when he first came out, i thought he was just this prissy little dude, pretending to be an alien and whatnot. (of questionable sexuality) Turns out, Gary is is actually just a right ok bloke, who is not what you may have thought he was.

I'd like to bounce a thought out to all of you, Gary uses the term "Geeky" to describe his "Hobby" of computer/digital software... O.k. so I feel that it just isn't applicable to say it or even use that way any longer. Why? Well, I do remember 30 years ago anyone spending time near a computer was labeled or called a Geek. So, here we are 2015 can we then say that a billion and accounting people on this planet with their faces and necks bent down looking at and manipulating and swiping their finger fingers across their touch screens Geeks!? to conclude the term Geek is dead. Gary uses it as a negative in his conversation it's no longer a negative..., it's a hobby/life (for some who choose to connect to the "grid" 24-7)

+BossaNossa1 Kraftwerk formed in 69/70 as a very experimental very minimalist electronic/real instrument band that really started to shape their sound in the mid 70s once they went completely electronic
