I love many albums from Gary Numan. SPLINTER is my favorite album though. I can listen to it in repeat, for 6 hours in the train Toronto ---> Montreal and vice-versa. I met him, his wife Gemma & Dave Dupuis backstage in Toronto. They are all so very kind, funny and great human beings. Each of them bring something of their own personality and it's a great mix! All of this was possible because of my fiancé, Daz, one of the best drummer I knew, who kew Dave Dupuis. Daz unfortunately passed away few years after this beautiful night/ concert of Gary in Toronto. I have been really sad and depressed since all of this happened and it was really hard for me to listen to Gary Numan after that... But now, I'm finally able to listen to his incridible music again... It could be from Down in the Park to My name in Ruin to all of the Splinter album in one afternoon! Anyway, all of this to say thank you very much for this documentary. Very well done! Good job! I really liked it! I wish for Gary, Gemma, their 3 beautiful daughters and all the fans & families a lots of health, joy & amazing music and creativity. (Sorry for my English, it's my third language. I'm trying my best.)

Thanks so much for sharing this , so sorry for your loss , glad you can once again listen to Garys music, i watched one of the 30th year Anniversary concert of The PLeasure Principle At the Brixton Academy _blew my mind , then Intruder was released the next week , been making up for lost time ever since 🤩🖤🤘✌🏻🎶I live in Sydney Australia , so looks like i really need to save my bickies💰to Europe or US for some live shows …yasss!!!

I do love you Gary I. Will be your biggest fan till the very last breath you are so gifted and a good artist I hope I get to meet you one day it's not fair you've had a lot of crap to deal with I wished I could of come to. See you in the early eighties when my partner passed away I had a lot of depression. T hats why your songs much better than taking pills you are one of many musicians love and admire so much

It was annoying on the few albums Gary mixed when he buried his voice under other instruments because of how he felt about it, and they also came out all muffled because he can't hear properly and didn't know how bad the recordings were - I rarely play them in the car because you can barely hear him on them. Savage and Intruder were superbly mixed though, his vocals come through so clearly. He has to remember that most people into Numan are into him *because* of how he sounds, so keep the voice front and center.

In fact, go back even further to lute and fiddle... Gary has always looked forward and there are a lot of good benefits to modern technology. He's an innovator not a hipster.
