For years I thought this song was the weakest on the Telekon studio album, but the 2006 live version converted me. Love this live version from back in the day. So crisp. Tremendous!

I never did this version is really bad ass and dark though. I think even better then 2006 one If only this had the original creepy piano notes too. Here some those notes were done have more a dreamy quality not creepy as the original piano notes had.

@@retromaster2000s I think I read somewhere that the original piano part on the studio version was adlibbed. If this is true, it would explain why the piano is so different in each subsequent version.

me too! my least favourite on the Telekon album for decades, then its |grown on me in the last 15 years or so, not least due to that chunky menacing Live version in 2006 as you say. what a slow burning classic this is!
