Not only a great champion, Gary Player is a genuine gentleman. He proved it by donating his prize money for a noble cause.

Kel Nagle only had 2 wins on the US PGA tour, but in total he had 94 professional wins around the world. Very impressive. Had he played more golf in the US he may of won more majors. He had 1 major win at the 1960 Open Championship. It's amazing to see this with Player knowing almost 60 years later at age 88 he can still hit a ball with vigor and flexibility.

You are underestìmating how good these guys were. Give todays pro's the same ball and clubs. They are playing tiny wood driver heads and wound balls. No solid core pro v1s and massive titanium driver heads. Just look at how the tech evolved from 94-2004 when titanium friver and solid core balls came in. Players like nick faldo is a great example how a player frok this video in the 60s still played very much like nock in the early 90s when he won majors and played the same equipment. Steel shafted drivers with permisson heads. Things changed forever in golf in the late 90s and even tiger himself said the balls are going to far nowadays.
