Saturday was a fantastic day. Everything seemed to go for us and I was so impressed by the attitude of the players. It was a complete paradigm shift from Wednesday. They were at it from the first whistle, there wasn't any of the panic that seemed to cripple them on Wednesday, and they were clinical. You could tell that it matters to the players and that's what we want to see. The home game vs. Huddersfield is still my favourite Blues performance this season but the Coventry game is close.

Sitting in the main stand it was clear that Dembele went straight down to the tunnel at the end of the game. While the rest of the squad were on the pitch going around the stands. Dembele your the best talent in the squad. Show some desire and defend when without the ball and you will play

We generally play ok in the first half of matches and then taper off. Difference on Saturday was we scored first and got a bit of confidence. Also Bielik at the back was immense. Simms would have bullied Aiwu all over the place. Again, provided confidence. Other positives: was pleased to see Anderson popping up across the midfield to add a bit of variety to our attack. And Roberts ability to pick up the ball from deep and progress. Paik still playing within himself it seems to me but perhaps that's under instruction. Think first half goals will be key in all of our final games....😬

Belik and Roberts and Anderson were tops. Jay up front a real threat with support. Well done blues

For me, it was the complete performance. 2 0 up at half time and limiting a well organised Cov to less than half chance. Sano's goal, set up by the ruthless Roberts was the icing on the cake. Nobody expected it but every one welcomed the result. KRO💙

Never expected anything against Cov, let alone a convincing win and performance. What was key was Bielik at CH, Paik and Ivan holding MF, width with Keshi and Miyoshi, and Roberts giving Stanno some support. Even though James, Dembele and Bacuna are amongst our more talented players they don’t fit into the team cos they try and do too much on their own and end up wasting chances.

Maybe we have the easiest program but we need to meet up at the pitch

Sunjic was my MOM. I like the fact we were playing in a 4-3-3 when attacking we closed down the wide arias well it was just a great performance. Sunjic stays Handerson stays. The rest that are out of contract Go. Juke to retire and get his testimonial.

It’s just not true that Tony Mowbray has ‘bombed out’ Ivan Šunjić’ - he’s had nothing but praise for him and how hard he works for the team. Called him a ‘warrier of a man’. Every team needs that kind of player, they can’t all be tippy-tappy, tricky players. I’ve written this so often - we forget that Šunjić was just 22 when we signed him with massive potential. Because of the fee, successive managers expected instant Modrić and because he wasn’t the finished article he wasn’t coached until Eustace worked with him this season. He’s still only 27. If you study the videos, you’ll see Šunjić predominately plays first time passes rather than trying to control it and then look for a pass - he looks for the pass before gaining possession. He’s a lot better than people realise. All that was missing was players around him ‘showing’ for the ball and he needed coaching with his shooting (‘cause he gets into scoring positions). All that came together today. Give him a new contract - he’s realising his potential. Look at the reaction of the players, they know how good he can be and what it means to him. He’s proper Blues. Oh and by the way - he NEVER gets injured.

I don't think Mowbray will be back & we need to rebuild with Rowett & sign him up on a long term deal & if he fancies Sunjic then that's fine by me

What a difference 3pts makes! Where are you getting Mowbray not coming back from?
@davidrichards-678 ай бұрын
@@TomStringfellow-w2i I haven't heard anything official it's just a gut feeling that because of his health scare & his age does he really need all the stress & being away from his family for long periods of time. He must be fairly wealthy & can still be involved in the game in some capacity but management really is a stressful business lMO

Rotherham will not fight like mad against us because they would rather relegate Sheff W or Huddersfield both Yorkshire teams.
@paulywhit27838 ай бұрын
Rotherham will not sit in,they are already relegated so may play with freedom,Huddersfield is almost a relegation decider Huddersfield were only beaten because they fielded a reserve team as they were in the playoffs,nothing to do with Redknapp
