If there's one thing i loved about Gary's first time in charge at Blues is you always felt the opposition absolutely didn't want to play us and if they did beat us they KNEW they had been in a game for 90+ minutes.

Great as a player for Blues, great first spell as Manager, Gary will know more than most just why he got sacked when we were going well. Maybe had an eye on a bigger prize. For all of that it’s a pity he didn’t come in sooner after Tony Mowbray’s untimely illness came to light, reckon we’d have survived if he had even though most of the games weren’t great. In some ways a blessing we’ve gone down as we’ve had a proper reset. Would wish Gary well and I’m sure he’ll get some opportunities, he’s only done what most of us would do in our jobs if we got much better offers KRO 💙

Wrexham and Birmingham to me are two different things. Birmingham has Tom Brady a great athlete who can improve fitness and work rate. Wrexham has two actors with a bit of money.

Interesting listen. Can say as a Millwall fan that even though we had good season finishes, his style of football is definitely not as he would like to describe.

He was Derby County manager until he left for Stoke City. Derby County was compensated. Six months later he got sacked by Stoke City.

Don’t understand some of the comments here , Gary has a more than respectable win rate in football, didn’t work out at Stoke for whatever reason and didn’t have enough time to turn Birmingham around after they endured a dismal season, even then his win rate had he had more games would have kept them up. 40.37% win rate overall is pretty decent.

Our players were gutless. That home game against Cardiff at the end of the season was practically a must win. Cardiff had nothing to play for. Yet we took 30 seconds to do a throw in cause nobody could be arsed to run into space. It was the most miserable game I've seen live and I knew we were going to be relegated after it. We should have done better and Rotherham and Huddersfield, I have no idea why Rowett played Burke. But the rotherham game we did score (offside) and its momentum was destroyed by the fan emergency.
