I’ve watched this video so many times and I just realized his bass has no knobs! No volume, no tone, nothing!

@@ifgwelf i remember reading somewhere that his prototypes didn’t have any controls, they were added to the production models for marketing purposes

Gary's prototype basses all had a pickup wired straight to the output jack. This resulted in a relatively low output, which was fine for Gary's purposes, but could scare off potential buyers of the production model, thus preamp and volume knob were added
