re: thomas kinkade artwork and his puzzles. I got myself the Beauty & the Beast one recently and it's the BEST puzzle! I can only highly recommend them. The amount of detail in his art is crazy. You just don't grow tired of doing the puzzle (or at least I didn't) because it is so pretty and the landscape's so calming. And I somehow felt a deeper connection to the characters? The box I got came with a puzzle mat, so it was super easy to roll up and store away for a day or two and then continue when I felt like it. Also 1000 seemed daunting at first, but I found the picture/art/print a perfect combination of similar colour schemes and easier areas (like the characters), so I didn't get frustrated from not knowing where things go, while also it not being overeasy. Once I had seperated the different areas, I would just do one of them at a time, starting with the castle and working my way through from there. Long ramble short: if you're a disney enthusiast and like puzzles, give it a go. They have become my favourite puzzles. I wanna get the Tangled one next!

Thanks Dean. The photographer for Halloween Mickey especially did dampen the mood. Maybe they don't realise for some of us it's not an every day thing. I'd always wanted to meet him in his Halloween stuff so it did annoy me.

Oh I was in tears at one point. Just a couple of strays but I was on edge. My tips for solo days, do Peter Pan's flight first. If you get magic hours then go in early & do most of Fantasyland/meet characters on Main Street - it'll mean you get more done overall.

You said at around 41:00 that you've met all the characters at Epcot... I don't think so! If you go over to Journey Into Imagination, you can meet Figment. Have you already had your photo taken with him? I had the fortunate opportunity to wander into his meet and greet area and I was the only one there! I had to ask whether I could come in or not and the attendant said yes, so I got a really good picture of us both! So sorry to hear that you got locked out of your room! Coronado Springs is a wonderful resort, I've stayed there a couple of times, but never got locked out. I did however, check in once at Port Orleans Riverside, and got to my room which was way across the other side of the resort and my door wouldn't open! So I wandered all the way back to the lobby and for the inconvenience they checked me into Magnolia Terrace, a lovely riverside mansion with a top-floor view overlooking the resort. It was a magical Disney moment! Also the large stones you see at the entrance to Epcot are Canadian granite stones from the Rocky Mountains covered in metal etchings of people who wanted their photos taken for the "Leave a Legacy" project way back about 10 or 15 years ago. I didn't get mine but am kicking myself now for not getting it done! At the time it was too expensive for me, but I sometimes enjoy looking at the photos and reading some of the quotes.

When I was there you could only meet Figment if you were a "Disney Visa Holder." He wasn't on the official schedule so I ruled him out. The lockout happened a couple of times - it was an issue with their system & our booking. Oh that's what the stones are! I kinda wish I was on there now! :)

I honestly didn't enjoy that Beauty and the Beast show, but that was just me :o) I loved Voyage of the Little Mermaid though. Those Stormtroopers are soooo intimidating, they stpped me last time I was there and then eventually said "Move along" Hahahahahahaha!!!! I wish I had it on film :( Chewie is AWESOME!!! Gary! I had my last final today, and i'm so glad to treat myself by sitting down and spending a Disney day with you. I'm so glad your glasses were recovered, and you got to enjoy fantasmic. I've never seen it before; I really hope to see it when I visit Disney in May :)

You really did handle things well when you were handed all the extra unfortunate circumstances you had to deal with. I kid you not, I would have bawled my eyes out when I couldn’t get into my room. (I don’t even have anxiety) I hope you can get confidence now that you did so well own your own. I noticed how much you were smiling. Your mouth must be sore. ❤️

Thank you, it was a struggle & I did have a little cry when I first lost my glasses. Trouble is, without them I wouldn't be able to see any more shows. Thankfully I did have a back up pair in suitcase for the rest of the holiday :D x

Ohh my god! Your character meet with Kylo Ren reminded me of the meeting that my son and I had with him back in 2016 at Disneyland Resort. He was daunting and a tad frightening- especially so because he towered over both of us (we are only 5ft 2in tall)! It was amazing and scary at the same time! 🤣
