The drum corp carries this band so much. People see the fancy drumming and think that they're brilliant when really the flute corp is no where near the same standard as the likes of Ballinran or William King and many other top melody bands. They would get destroyed at an indoor contest competing against these bands as it's judged with ears and not eyes.

matter of opinion buddy, MYD are good but i just happen to think musically Black Skull and Shankill Road Defenders are better, MYD have too much emphasis on their drumming

as a still serving member of an armed forces corps of drums i would say these are a good band but the shankill road defenders are a better band if u look away and just listen to the music mourne are nothing special
