Longevity of Fruit Hold and Alternate Bearing on Avocado Trees

Gary, most likely you are in another planet: 2022 Mother's day here on earth was May 8th, and I am watching your video on May 14, 2022 and you posted your video on May 13th but you talk about May 17, 2022 (at 5:33), 3 days from now. Also I have never seen avocado fruit stay on the tree for more than one year, but you mention 2 years. Most of the fruits that are not picked around June will drop by themselves by August. Anyway it was nice to see many clusters of avocado fruit on your tree, that is what it is all about, and hope you get your dates right.

Gary, I bought a nice 5 foot hass from golden gate palms 2 years ago. This year it's 7 feet tall and it finally set fruit. So excited! How long did you wait before ceasing regular watering of the tree in your video? I wan't to know when I can leave my tree to fend for itself.

it will fruit better and be happier and look better with regular watering. But mine are surprising me in their ability to deal with prolonged drought.
