Thank you for publishing this morphing clock. You have removed a few setbacks and fine-tuned it to a perfect clock. Thank you for your time and efforts.❤❤

Awesome project. Hardest part was waiting for the slow rowboat to arrive from China with the panels. Everything worked straight out of the box, now to make more permanent connections and display enclosure... Thanks for all of your hard work on this! BTW total draw for panel and ESP8266 running totals 160-190mA @5V (depending on brightness setting).

That's good to know, I thought it would draw a lot more power.

I realise this project is a few years old now, but I still love it. I've made a couple already. But wondering if anybody can share their code of an ESP32 version complete with with web server, offering colour choice, and brightness adjustment. Thanks!

Hello Gary i have seen your designs They are beautiful now i have a question, i have a P2 256*128Mm Smd1515 128X64 Pixel Rgb Full Color Led Panel Matrix received. And i would like to make a morphing clock. i do not have much knowledge of writing a code. Can you help me how to connect this to a Wemos D1 Mini V4.0.0 or to an esp32, and maybe help to write a code ino? Kind regards Ruud Hudepohl

If you don't have much experience writing code I don't feel this is the way to get started. I recommend you get the hardware recommended and work with that.

Will this work with an ESP32-wroom-32d?

I never tried, I think someone once mentioned it did not, it would require coding changes. One of the library calls is very dated, it's the reason you have to load the older ESP8266 prior to 3.x otherwise it would not compile.

Hi Gary, looking at the wiring diagram you have here on the back of the display you have yellow labeled as esp, should that be labeled as out?

Hi Andy, you are correct, when I made the change the for the D3 wire I screwed up. Here is the updated wiring imgur.com/a/OsXNWu2
