New with the 800, but if I'm working along a fence, or curb that's signaling, I turn and face the fence line and work sideways. Seems the coil doesn't give a hit nearly as much scanning parallel to the line as apposed to ending the swing near the line. Good vid!

I noticed that for the nickel you tested you had the freq at 5, and at the site you had it set at multi.

Really? I don't doubt they're nice people but the prices stink. I figured I'd go there and order my 6" Equinox coil and they want $239 for it.. Everyone else charges $179. No thanks!

Its iron bias not iron discrimination. The higher the number the more likely you will get iron that sounds like a ferrous target. Turn it down to zero
