The bulk head issue is the least of your errors!!! Surly the third ‘peddle’ you put in was the accelerator with the 2 photo etched parts being the brake & the clutch ….😂!!! You’ll have to ‘back peddle’ on that too ….😳😂

Lots of detail and fiddly bits. I have to admit thar the etched radiator shell looks fabulous. Still weighing in my mind all those little bits versus the simplicity of the Airfix version. Looks grand, Gary! Bodywork next -- can't wait!

Man I hate PE. Looking forward to resin and 3D printed fiddly bits become more common in kits. RFM have started to do some great stuff in this area.
@garys_stuff2 жыл бұрын
3D print is the way forward, I think - even though PUR can be pain in the whatsit from time to time it would be easier than photo etch and often a better part anyway. For example, the closing bar on the water carrier could have a nice little padlock on it and would look better. I don't think there is a sacrifice made on the thickness of the parts either, I've had some very, very thin bits of resin before! With 3D printing you could have the whole water carrier complete with cans as a single part, I think.
