The gospel of Gary. It was life changing for my young avocado grove. I spread the gospel to all who will listen. I have done tests myself on my own potted avocados and the evidence is irrefutable. Thank you father Gary!

🐞Gary, could you have your daughter return for part ll on house plants. I am interested in propagating all types of ficus trees. Also care of palms indoors. I really enjoyed her first class. Thanks. 🐞

I have a bougainvillea that I repotted into sand, perlite, and peat moss and it’s doing better than ever. It would have been dead if I left it in the wood chip based compost soil I used prior. Thank you for your amazing info!

I've been trying to get Gary's Top Pot soil here in Florida and i'm unable to. I wish Gary would look at other distributers to ship his soil to other U.S. states.

It is easy to make on your own. Peatmoss and pumice. You could use perlite or sand as well for the aeration aspect.

I'm trying Gary over here on the East Coast! Very difficult since shipping and products cost so much to ship :/ But the soil I made works wonders.

What about growing vegetables and fruits in heavily clay soil without adding any compost? I would use a thick layer of mulch in the duff zone to feed some nutrients slowly to the plans.

Would be a good idea to promote translation for your video since lots of Spanish speaking languages are no idea about perfect soil still buying what big box stores have in supply '' compost "

Gary have you had any success or herd of anyone growing Dragon fruit under LED lighting ? I’m thinking more for Vegetative growth. I want to fill in my trellis and maybe get sum mother plants to veg out so I can fill more trellises.

Hi there. I did a video about dragonfruit recently and mentioned the led lights are for attracting night pollinators. They use them in Malaysia. They only flower for one night and because they do it at night, the bees are sleeping. Therefore you see dragonfruit growing under led lights 😃 It’s not for growing.

@@TheWeedyGarden I got it, they say fruit bats are the natural pollinators of most dragon flowers 😉I ll use a paint brush to insure it’s done right ☺️. Yes trying to supplement sun lighting to get my cuttings above the trellis

Anyone know where to buy sand which can be usable for gardening?
@joshmc5882
@joshmc5882 10 ай бұрын
the building supplies section, look for decomposed granite (cracker dust) .

Landscape supply or big box stores. Hole depot or lowes. Sand or decomposed granite will work.

I tried a similar method of using sand perlite and a tiny bit of the charcoal for plants. And then I added 2 inches of soil dirt on top, harvest time came around and I pulled the plant and it came up looking like a cow patty because the roots were only in the top soil, no roots at all went down into the sand what did I do wrong? I know nutrients were going into the sand and perlite mixture underneath

I would also be interested to hear the reply to that. I’m thinking the water ran through it too fast (not enough clay) to hold moisture.

Did you scratch in the soil into the sand/perlite? I think if there's 2 separate layers, it could cause a perched water table situation where the water is staying in the soil and not moving down to the sand. Are you watching enough to get the sand wet? Have you checked the sand moisture?

@@TheWeedyGarden it was in a pot with a bowl on the bottom, all the water wicked from the bottom to the top from that bowl I never watered from the top down

Next time mix it all together. No need for two separate layers. Your roots were pruning themselves because the bottom layers was very different from the top layer on which they started growing.
