This really did help. Keeping the flute stable without jamming my bottom teeth into the back of my head has been a problem I've been working on, and just imagining the two hands as you described actually made a difference! Thanks!

I wanted to ask about you ring spacers. I couldn’t see exactly where you were putting them. I assume it was on the end of the head joint. I would be interested in knowing as I think it would be something I would like to try. I have a LeFreQue Sound Bridge, but it is awkward. What you are talking about sound like the same thing, but easier to use.

Sharon Gygi don’t. I don’t use anything in or on my flute. None of it works to your advantage. Things will make things seem different for awhile, not better in my experience.

Very beautiful. What is that? I get very shaky when making C#'s. :)

Ham Dinger what is the music you mean? Mozart flute quartet in A. Shaky? Is it a new flute? This is an old flute, the c#s are always high on old scale and sometimes flat on new scale flutes; different problems to solve.
