I'd never heard of Gary and his band and their effort. It's so inspiring to see someone with star power with the people, putting money where the mouth is. He's instantly my favourite. Amazing.

Too bad that people like Gary Sinise aren't models for young generation. After Forest Gump he dedicated his life for helping soldiers. Gary, u have my respects and my love. I hope u will stay healthy and may God give u happiness because u deserve it.

@@RobertVeasquez my prime quack can't read a lab report and didn't treat me for diabetes for over 3 years had to go to an ER than he said I was a diabetic. Had blood pressure at 158/96 he told me not only was it normal it's at the low end of normal. A friend of mine had him also he's dead now nothing was wrong with him either.

The thing is, as many - far too many- veterans as we lose every day to suicide, we will never know how many lives were saved by Gary Sinise, the Lt. Dan Band, Robert Irvine, Sysco, etc. "simply" by having a day where the veterans (and their families and caregivers) are reminded that they are not alone, they are appreciated and respected. If they have saved one, that makes it worth while, (And yes, I've donated $! You?)

ive listened to his band a bit & theyre all wonderful but i have to say the blond female singer's voice doesnt carry well. she seems to get drowned out by the music. the other 2 are phenomenal.
