I am not an American, I am a Scotsman and a military veteran, and I have been following what Gary has been doing for US veterans. I would love to see Gary Sinese awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his work with his foundation.

Gary Sinise is an awesome brother. I met him briefly in Iraq. When he shook my hand & said thank you, I could tell he truly meant it. It wasn't a quick handshake & move on to the next person. I love what he is doing. Thank you for the support, brother

Meeting Gary Sinise would b very cool to do!! However brief it was…still it’s a great memory to have!! My dad served 21 years in the Army National Guard…my dad was my Hero!! He always will b! He died on July 11, 2020. Not from Covid. He died from smoking. Something I will NEVER do! I’m proud at what my dad taught me!! Being kind, being humbled, helping others. He inspired me in a lot of ways!! I try to inspire others just like he did! I’ve been told a lot of things over the years…some things I thought I would hear about. Worked at a college…those kids taught me a lot…inspired me a lot!! They told me I inspire them to b better version of themself thru me and what I taught them. I had a walking boot on for almost 4 years on and off…they knew my foot hurt but I continued to work…showing them u can still work while injured. I had two different kinds of cancer at the same time…one deadly…one not. That was from July to December ‘23…I just celebrated my one year cancer free…4 more years to go!! I’ll get there!! The kids clapped when I told them the dr got it all…it won’t come back!! Life has a way of bringing u down in time of trouble. My advice? Don’t let it!! Inspire urself while inspiring others!! U can do it!! U got this!! In times of trouble…don’t give up on u!! Others won’t give up on u either!! Positive encouragement goes along way!! For u…and for others!! Don’t give up on u…they won’t give up on u either!!

Gary is a one-of-a-kind! Lord, I only wish that more celebrities were just like him! And since I am a 20yr retired vet myself, I can be grateful for what he has done for my brothers and sisters in the military. Some do it for publicity. Some do it for notoriety. I believe Gary does it bc he REALLY cares!

New homes should be engineered that people of all ages and abilities can live in. I've watched UK ambulance videos where the crews have terrible trouble getting patients down stairs or turning a stretcher around hallway corners etc. to get them out. The GarySiniseFoundation have put a lot of thought into that property and others should learn from it. I'm sure Joshua will not be apart from his family for one minuet, he may even have to slip the latch to get 5 mins peace and quite. Wishing you all a wonderful time in your new home. Of course we must say a big thank you to all those who contributed to Josh's family home, be it big or small together you have made it great.

What an impact this Champion has made to so many. To use his fame to help people who really deserve it through his incredible foundation is so refreshing and something you don't normally hear about from a Hollywood star.........but Mr Sinise is a lot more than your average Hollywood star, he is just a straight up superstar leading the way from darkness to an unthinkable brightness !! This one really hit home for me as I love how patriotic American's are and I am also an amputee. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart Mr Sinise and your awesome foundation for the love, care & generosity you show to those who really deserve it like this returned American soldier who made such a massive sacrifice in the name of his country. I just wish more Hollywood stars would follow in your footsteps or better still donate much needed funds to your foundation. Keep up the great work you absolute champion 👍

I only “met” Gary Sinese Forrest grump but he was the most memorable guy in that film!! I felt his heart for some reason, so I wasn’t surprised when he went forward with helping the VETS!! I’m teary eyes!!! You don’t get to meet humans like him too often!!! More power to him and his awesome team!!!!! No one can do it alone!!!!
