Wow! That video made me cry! My uncle is a IIWW heroe ! He died at 92 Y.O. What a wonderful initiative! They deserve every applause.

That was my Daddy... He died in February on his 94 birthday. I miss him. This is the first time I'm seeing this video of his trip there. I'm so glad he got to be honored and got to go the WWII Museum in New Orleans. It meant so much to him. Thank you Gary Sinise.

I got to meet Gary and Fred Olivi ( co-pilot of the B29 Bocks Car that dropped the bomb on Nagasaki) at the Lansing Country Club in September 2000. What you see here is what he is. God Bless you Gary!!!

My granddad ( german army ) had once a meeting by random with a gentleman from the USA ( US Army ) both fight each other unknowingly from the Normandy to the Battle of the Bulge - the most touching moment was as both men sit together in silence, crying - they left as friends and stayed that way to their passing - its years ago, decades, but this was one of the most memorable moment in my life!

Seeing so many young people honoring the Greatest Generation and fully appreciating what these heroes did for all the world gives me hope for the future of the USA and all of the World. Thank you Gary and your Foundation to honor these TRUE PATRIOTS. Stay the course, as they are dwindling down and their memories will go with them if we don't help them tell the story. Soaring Valor was one of the greatest avenues to accomplish this.

These Soaring Valor trips are just amazing and so beautifully touching. The Veterans looks so happy with all of the activities and so grateful to be remembered and ACKNOWLEDGED!! I like how one man put in, (when presenting a War War ll Vet with the Gary Sinise Foundation Coin), "we stand on your shoulders". Wow. Love the work of Gary's Foundation!! A big thanks to all the Veterans who fought for our FREEDOM. xo

Gary Sinise and his foundation do so much for the US troops both old, new and wounded, first responders et al. Here in the UK unfortunately we don't have a Gary to come and whisk them away to their own museum citing their bravery in WW2.

Soaring valor reminds me that staying home, changing routines to fight Corona virus is NOTHING compared to what these men & women sacrificed. Back home, rationing and blackouts were a way of life as well. We will get through this.
