I've been Flipping on ebay since December 5th, 2016. If you put in the time, effort and work, you can absolutely make money. It will be hard in the beginning trying to figure out how to ship items, and the whole system of "flipping" but press on and it will become like breathing. Everyone has their own way and processes, you will find yours. I've evolved as a Full time Reseller as has my entire basement. It's not for everyone, but for those that are in on it, It becomes a lifestyle because everywhere you go you see opportunities that 99% of people walk past.

Okay, but how do you compete with Amazon? This is what I don't get. Amazon always do it for cheaper, especially if people have Prime and most people do. So how does that work? Genuinely asking as I've been trying for a while. 💯✌🙏

@@doll_juice That is a great question, Thank you for asking it. I focus on vintage and antique items and well as hitting the 70s and 80s Nostalgia niche. I do sell a many products that are new in package with original tags as well. As far as competing against any other platform, I don't overthink it. I just buy what I've learned sells for me, do my best to take Quality pictures, provide accurate measurements when required, answer messages in a timely fashion. Ship out the same or Next Day and never trip over a return or hiccup in the process. The secret is the reseller MUST have an internal drive that pushes them. Success and Failure are both destinations arrived via Choice and Action or lack thereof. "If you believe you can, you can"

@@doll_juice all depends what you’re selling. Amazon itself sells items, then they have 3rd party individuals like us sell on there too. When you’re buying stuff from garage sales etc it’s usually really cheap. So the profits will always be there especially if you sell on amazon. Amazon is actually the place you can ask for the highest price for items. It’s just a lot of red tape to sell on there so a lot of people avoid it. I sell mainly on eBay, been dragging my feet to do amazon bc It’s such a hassle

I do sneaker flipping. I buy sneakers that are going to be in high demand as soon as they launch. They generally run out in the first 15-20 min. Then put them up on the market for much higher( according to it's popularity / demand). most sneakers make 20-30$ profit after all the shipping etc. However 1or 2 make more than 600-700 dollars a pair.

I’ve been selling collectible cards for a long time. eBay has gotten INSANE with the amount of fees they take out. Not only that, but you no longer get to ship cards over a certain dollar amount directly to the customer. It has to go to a 3rd party verification facility. It doubles the shipping time. Also, I would typically give free cards to customers who spent over a certain dollar amount to add value. The authentication facility will cancel the sale and return to sender. If I buy something for $100 and sell it for $160, after fees and shipping, I’ll get around $110. It’s not worth it. Very sad how much they bend the sellers over.

Obviously we are all starting from different points financially, but through carful research you can find the thing that people truly want. You will possibly need a bot because you are against established scalpers, but there you go, and I hope this helps. The video isn’t wrong about time allocation. Been reselling full time now for about a year. The beginning is the most difficult part, but after you get the hang of it it’s pretty easy. I’d say the shipping scares a lot of people off. What Gary’s saying is 100% true. You can do it part time and have a few extra hundreds in your pocket, or full time and live off of it. How skill you become and the effort you put in determines the money. I’m currently on schedule to do 45k-50k this year. I’m just sharing it bc I see so many people automatically write his advice off. The following list below are just some of the few PRACTICAL (organic, no shortcut, discipline) solutions to a side income conundrum. Legal methods - Small/large drywall repairs (Skilled trades) for residential properties, Securing a garbage/litter maintenance contract with property management companies for shopping complexes (Cleaning up parking lots and full garbage bins), Garage door maintenance for residential properties, Driveway sealing for residential properties, Drilling holes into residential structures for exhaust systems, Door lock replacements, Residential security camera service and installation, Door bell replacement, Lawn maintenance for residential properties on a monthly contract, Garage door refinishing, Furniture assembly, Tv mounting services, Furniture restoration, Appointment based car wash at customers property, residential exhaust pipe cleaning, Pressure washing services, Cell phone repair, Curtains and blinds installation, Residential garage storage services, Fence staining and repair, commercial cleaning contracts etc. There are quite a lot of ways to make side income, But many folks wish to find easy solutions to earning extra income without understanding the steps required to achieve a stress free lifestyle. If you think about a job and as a immediate reaction - Convince yourself It's not for you? Then there's a high probability that job will be making you money by default. Also, the list specifically consists of methods that require frequency in customers in order to make really good money - Example, Small drywall repairs - For a 10 inch by 10 inch area of a damaged area, to repair and paint match costs $150 or more. 3 + customers per day will likely pay you more than your primary source of income if you consider yourself middle class or below. Illegal method - There's only one, organic method that requires extreme discipline and active awareness. Cocaine costs $1400 - $1600 per ounce on average. It's a guarantee that you will break even and make back the amount of money you paid to purchase the ounce by selling cocaine by the gram.
