I think the Megadeth lineup for So Far was one of the best lineups. Jeff killed it on guitar and everyone knew it. Too bad the Daves were so messed up on hard drugs. Also didn't know about Axel's drama with the food catering on the Iron Maiden Seventh Tour. I saw that show in Omaha, NE and we asked why Guns wasn't on the bill that night, wad told Axel had a bad trip.

Compared to who played before and after him, Jeff was just a full-in. Not one of his solos was memorable.
@dr.kennethspeers80142 ай бұрын
It's cool to hear how other people learned how to play. I had a similar experience. I learned by ear, but had a brother-in-law teach me how to hold the guitar and pick, and how to read tabs. Then I started playing along to megadeth, death, metallica, slayer, and testament. Eventually played some steve vai and yngwie stuff. Then had ultimate guitar forums where a bunch of different people taught me a bunch of different tricks. Even had a dude spend several hours with me, teaching me how modes work over msn messenger lol.
