Never thought the gun might need different gas, I’ve been trying to troubleshoot a g&g 1911, gets towards the end of the rounds and just doesn’t have enough gas. Bleeding the mag doesn’t change anything. I’ll try red gas and see

I had that exact issue. Tried higher power gas, and it helped. Ultimately I have stopped using my metal slide pistol due to just inconsistency. It was impossible to get it to cycle with any regularity - not something you want to deal with on the field. I went with Tokyo Marui plastic slide pistols and have not had an issue since.

@@KyloRenClubfunny, I run my double barrel 1911 on green gas and have no issue with cycling even with low can pressure and even near the end of the mag's gas capacity. My EMG Ark-17 is giving issues though and it is literally more ported than any gun I've ever seen.

@@zakpenn6195 Is the slide metal or plastic? The cycling issue is related to the heavy full metal slide, fully ported or not the heavy metal is what can cause the issue with cycling.

I have a question. So I got like the same gun, I load the mag with gas and BBs and then put the mag in the gun and then I go to slide the slide back and then it just starts shooting like full auto and wastes the whole mag of gas and all like even without pressing the trigger, if that makes sense

I have a jag arms gm4 and the stock mags cycle perfectly, the we tech mags I bought however do not fully cycle the gun, I have a higher strength recoil and hammer spring
