Thanks again for this thorough video. I definitely want to see more of your reviews on top tier modifications/what fits together well. As someone who is just getting into the world of hi capas, I have a lot to learn and Reddit only goes so far. I’m OCD when it comes to making something perfect if I’m going to do something. Going for my first outdoor hi capa build and would love to see your preferences culminating into a full build. HPA is on my list, but only after I’ve made one that isn’t. (Don’t want my secondary to be connected to HPA. Only when I’m running it as a primary)

I recommend looking for a compensator kit which allows you to stuff in a 7in inner barrel. This will give you your best fps. Choosing a quality barrel will be important look for an EDGI or PDI barrel!

Silicone is Silicone, ptfe is Teflon my friend... just sn fyi. Some Silicone synthetic oils, grease, and Lubricants that have "ptfe" on the label means that the Silicone oil has a powdered Teflon aid in it. That's why you see some Silicone Lubricants that will state "without ptfe" Iam not trying to call you out my man, just to inform people that may get confused by you saying that Silicone oil is "ptfe" Hope this helps, have a good one 👍

Yes generally speaking, however almost if not all “airsoft” lube has PTFE in it

@CadensCustomWorks yep, I get that... but newbies looking into this stuff don't know what's what yet. And I just wanted to add a little clarification. You said that silicone was ptfe... no, it's not.. silicone is silicone, and most of it has ptfe in it. Ptfe is a micro powder lubricant that is ADDED to the silicone oil/grease. Like I said, I wasn't trying to call you out... just to clarify for the Newbs that will watch this. I am EXTREMELY OCD with chemicals and such. I was a chemist for Dow chemical company for 14 years, before I followed my dreams and opened up my own business. I was the labs senior chemist, and I've made extremely advanced polymers, thermoset epoxy resins, thermoset epoxy adhesives, thermo woven Honeycombing, and Ester polymers. I have taken part in advanced projects with NASA to make thermoset resins for satellites, James Webb Telescope, space station, and parts for rockets. I've worked with Lockheed and the military, making advanced polymers for the newer wave of fighter jets. Boeing with airplanes. Nike for golfballs and club shafts... so iam extremely ocd with molecular chemical engineering, and chemistry. I am sorry if I have upset you for pointing that out. quick question: is it mandatory to put a lubricant on the tip of a Co2 cartridge? if yes, should i buy PTFE in a spray can? (there's one that looks like paste in a jar thingy too) i keep being told u need it, u don't, silicone oil is the best, PTFE is the best, synthetic grease is the best and much more so i wanted to ask someone like u who seems to know alot (the pistol in question is an H8R)

So I have a EMG salient arms international 2011 5.1 select fire. I know that it's similar to a hi-capa. The problems I'm having with it right now is the trigger is having a hard time resetting itself the slide isn't going back into battery all the way and my select fire won't go into full Auto with those problems what do you think I need to do?

I just found some medical grade dry wipes on Amazon but you can use any micro fiber cloth

@@Fokkkker yeah they work great, there are lots of various oils, basically my point in the video is that it should be a medium consistency and have ptfe in it for general cleaning and maintenance purposes

You are wrong, you're not supposed running alcohol past your bucking, alcohol will damage the rubber even if it touches it little bit.

Dude, green gas HAS silicon oil, it's been flowing/passing through your hop up bucking and inner barrel inevitably. So....

Propane/HPA chief if you want to be anal about your accuracy like me then you have to keep that barrel as clear as possible

@@brixquinonez you are right, some silicon does end up doing down the barrel inevitably. Which is why it is even more important that people don’t add more silicone. The less you have in the barrel and on the bucking the batter!

on real guns everything is metal so the real gun cleaner is going to dry out the o rings and seals that you have all through out your entire gun. please do not use gun cleaner you will have a lot of problems soon or down the road.
