Hi, great videos they are being really helpful during our Coaster build. Can you remember the bottom measurement of the press lock fitment? The info from DIY RV solutions is that the cut out for the lock is 35mm from the edge of the lid - my calculations are that it is 45mm from the edge of the lid to allow for the lip that the lid sits in. Have I got it all wrong? I know it was awhile ago for you now but would appreciate any advice. Cheers Regards Enzo

I can’t remember the measurements I took at the time - but here is a photo of it now. Looks to be about 35mm from the bottom of the door.

@@czechausout thank you Yours is definitely 35mm, I’m going to have to have another look at mine. I must be calculating wrong. Unless their designs have changed.

Nice Job on that and very helpful video. You used the initial cut out to get the measurements for positioning but I did notice that the bottom of the box is exactly aligned with the groove at the bottom and so that just leaves the sides. On the right side can you share the exact measurement from the vertical groove to the cutout ? That would be very helpful. :)

Hi Grant, unfortunately I can't remember the exact measurement, however it would be best to ensure you match it to your box, even if it is meant to be the same. It also took a fair bit of trimming back and forth to get it right - I like to go smaller on the hole at first and slowly cut more away until it fits.

I think with the money you pay for these things they should come full assembled

I agree Mick, I was a little suprised to find I had to install the door and hinge - I guess it gives people some flexibility of placement, but yeah...not ideal!
