A longer more detailed video, thanks. A very impressive build of the bathroom area. It's scary cutting holes into the sides and roof, but coasters are built strong and you are only weakening a very small part of the body. I am enjoying your build. Good job.

Hey again Desmond. Love the new picture... Are you still in CR? I may be visiting with your help, hint hint. I love watching this awesome couple and their progress. I've just bought a mount for my camera and will be posting crazy traffic from here in Kuwait before this deployment ends. I sent them some Tshirts I wonder of they got them... HMMMM Hope you and your son are well

@@ShayTBD Hey good to hear from you. Ye still in Costa Rica, We were travelling for a while but the beach area was just too hot. Although only warm compared to Kuwait!! I put some air bag suspension on the bus, so it is a little softer ride in the back, And a window ac and a larger generator. So still using and working on it. Get in touch if you need any info or visiting. descurtis1@gmail.com

you guys are amazing. I am looking at a coaster that has a few unfinished projects. It does not have a shower or toilet. what made you decide on where to put your shower cubical?
@RoamingonRubber3 жыл бұрын
Hi Bron, mostly just the space and where it fitted in our plan/not over a wheel arch. However we did it across from our fridge and didn't think about the 2 biggest things being opposite each other which made it quite tight. We aren't doing that again in our new bus haha! Good luck with the Coaster looking 😊

I was told by several gas plumbers that I was only legally able to have them install the piping under the bus for the gas…. I also checked this online with compliance. Have you had any issues getting your bus passed with the gas pipes running internally? Isn’t it dangerous? Confused….

Bit what about the toilet catchment cassette...what it looks like n how it fits, n where does it get dumped once full..?
@RoamingonRubber5 жыл бұрын
Hi Trevor, thanks for letting us know, we didn't actually think to include it in our video. We will try and get how it fits and what it looks like into a future video. If you want to send us an email to contactus@roamingonrubber.com we can send you some pics of it now though. When it is full we empty it at the closest dump point. They are specific spots that motorhomes can empty their toilet and grey water. We use the Wikicamps app which is fantastic and tells you where the closest one is and what services there - like fresh water etc. Let us know if you have any more questions. Thanks!

Hi Guys, excellent video once again. I am curious as to what silicone or sikaflex you are using throughout these areas, for the hatches inside shower, connecting shower cubicle halves and securing outside roof hatches on the top of the van.
@RoamingonRubber5 жыл бұрын
Hey Chris, we used Sellys wet area at first, but we then switch to Sikaflex 227 which was recommended by a rep at Bunnings for automotive use. We found this one cures very quickly though which means you have to be quick with it!

Hello Roaming on Rubber... Did the package make it? Looking forward to the finished product. I may be going to CR. I think that's where I'll find the best bus in the best condition for the age (93-95). Its getting hot in the desert here and I really don't want to be here mid summer. :(

Hey! We will find out today! We have been on the road for the past month and having our mail collected which we get today. We will let you know :) I imagine Costa Rica will be a nice change of scenary too! Good luck finding your bus and escaping the heat!

Again a great video your bus is looking awesome, who did you actually ask about cutting away the metal structure?
@RoamingonRubber5 жыл бұрын
We asked our engineer who said it was okay. If in doubt it definitely pays to ask the engineer who will be certifying yours to be sure.

And rust inhibitor (spray on outside) after cutting out hatches. What brand?
@RoamingonRubber5 жыл бұрын
We used White Knight Rust Guard. No particular reason why we used this brand.
