I got a quote for it myself. Mine will be about $5-10K the gas line is already capped but the chimney lining needs to be replaced.

Did they just put a stove pipe out of the existing vent from the gas stove?

yes and no they added a few things in there I did not stay to watch but they were in the house for about 6-7 hours doing this job
