Another great video, do you have any videos on fasteners, as in which ones are code compliance. 3" or 3.5" for framing, and what for sheathing 2 3/8 ?? Or what's universal with code compliance, oh for roofing too..what's the correct length

Thats a hard one because there are so many different scenarios. Try to google IRC table r602.3 for the fastening schedule. In general a 16d x 3-1/2” framing nail should get you through most framing. Roof and wall sheathing attachment with a 8d x 2-1/2” should work as well.

I read somewhere that appliance valves are sometimes only rated to 2psi or so. Do you usually see the appliance valves open but their outlet capped during the test?

Yes, if the valve is installed. Normally the pipe will be run and capped at all ends for test and then valve and attachment to appliances completed. At least in my area thats how we normally see it.
