We have 2 50 caliber propane/oxygen guns that work great. They operate with both lines coming into the gun separate and mixing once in the gun. If you need any tech photos or such let me know. We would be happy to share. Great work on the scout cars and these additions to them.

I've built a few of these for reenacting, and have really honed my skills in making a clean, efficient setup. Honestly building them is sometimes more fun than dragging them around a field... :P Currently in the middle of my first Vickers project and I'm very excited for it. Inside a vehicle you obviously have a LOT more room to work with, and can have larger propane / oxy tanks. Make sure they're in a safe place & use those flame arrestors since space allows!

Anyhoo, you're doing everything right so far :D For anything in the 30-cal range you'll be fine with 1/4 NPT pipe (.54 OD), a smooth 3/4 NPT coupler and two 3/4 > 1/8" reducers (Makes it easier to drill a pilot hole and tap for spark / barrel). I've helped build a .50 cal, in which case all your pipe sizes are one larger (1" coupler, 3/8" NPT barrel)

Yeah... www.ww2steel.com/Gasguns/Gasguns.html I put this part of project on hold until the 222 Scout Car is done, which should be Spring 2024. So I will continue the build series then.

Its coming... I sort of jumped the "gun" so to speak. Im currently working on finishing the vehicle first. Should be back onto the MG simulator in a few months.
