Gas to Gisborne - New Zealand 1984

In 1984, the Gas to Gisborne Pipeline was constructed serving demand on the west coast of the North Island. The complex project saw 150km of pipeline laid across rugged terrain, due to the terrain supplies needed to be delivered to site using helicopter. Over the duration of the project there was more than 2000 hours of flying time!
