How to get cashier back ( only if the finale ending is not done yet, if it is its too late ) : Before doing all the stuff for the regular Finale ending, the player can take Orby from the store and leave it. Then the player is able to search and remember various notes that can appear in various spots of the world, making the Finale ending change. First, a small moment in the Get a snack at 4 AM ending will change, in which the player will tell Dummy that something important is coming and that they will know when the time comes. This Finale ending plays out of the same, except that Dummy decides to take the role of Orby's replacement, as they are more suited to the role than Cashier. The aftermath of the ending is the same, except Cashier can still be found in the store. - Wiki

a bit of a theory on why the player was switched to the cashier the player was kicked before the cashier tried throwing the orb aka orby in the trash(they were kicked trying to steal the item when the cashier are glitching so yes you talked to dummy when you're the cashier). Because the cashier AI have a path finding AI you're now in the position of the cashier. As for the player, they aren't able to join or didn't join back in the story perspective, due to the players not being in the game the world start to break down. thats just how i look at it but you can have your own theory

Same here, I was so confused by the notes. The developer really should have added a better system to prevent you from getting the notes in your first playthrough. It kind of ruined the ending for me..

How to save cashier:Get the orb and then it will say "You feel timelines shifting" and then collect the 1st note by the bathroom and bedroom and then get a ending collect the 2nd note by cashiers car and then do a ending collect the 3rd note in the kitchen and then get a ending collect the 4th note in the store and then get a ending and then collect the 5th note by the orb and then get the rest of the endings and then you still will have cashier. (NOT INCLUDING THE INGREDIENT NOTE OR NOTES IN UR MAILBOX)

hey !! im late but to get the good ending you should firstly reset your data, and in the new run, steal orby from the shop !! from then, get the 5 notes that appear once every run, then go about the game as normal, and the finale will be different :]
