Used correctly this does work. You are meant to put it in ya bivvy closed up for at least 2/3 hours. I use the 9 hour tea lights. Believe me when you have been standing outside in winter and open ya bivvy door you will feel the warmth. It’s not an instant heat source but these heater do keep the condensation at bay with the bivvy closed up.

Be careful with so many tealights in an enclosed space. As the wax gets hot it liquifies and then gives of vapours in a small space and can catch alight and then you essentially have a chip pan fire which can turn into a fireball if you were to throw water on it.
