Great job, looks well built. I would try using lighter color paint and a water jacket for your oil collection. That green may absorb too much heat from the sun but it does look cool. Also, look into using cobalt chloride crystal as a catalyst. It's simple to use and will remove CO2 leaving a much cleaner CO and pure ish hydrogen. I'd put the cobalt catalyst in that first cyclone stage. The heat may help activate the reaction better (don't know if that's accurate but it makes sense). Cheers

I think better to connect gas to top of old oil heater. Because when you connect it to the bottom you create gas flow resistance. Naturally wen gas cools it goes down. That is why cyclone filter has intake at the top.

Very nicely done, does anyone out there know how to store gas after you make it I don't think I have seen anyone do that yet ,I'm sure they folk out there doing it.

Use pellets as fuel rather than sticks, better more consistent and cheaper fuel if you count the time not spent foraging and processing the fuel or getting bitten by insects or animals.

Awesome! Are people powering cabins with these? I need to generate about 6 KWH/day. If my initial research is close, @ 2.5 lbs of biomass/KWH, an efficient gasifier would need about 15 lbs of feedstock to produce 6 KWH/day. That's 450 lbs/mo. That's a lot of sticks lol. :) How much time/electricity do you use to collect & cut feedstock? Is it really practical to produce 6 KWH/day using a gasifier or is this more suited for emergency power? Thanks!

In theory, could I basically attach my pellet stove I use to heat my house already (from the exhaust pipe coming from the inside of my home), to the filter and use the rest of this design to make wood-gas? I'm wondering if I can use this gas then to operate an LP/NG wall heater? I would effectively be using a byproduct to produce more heat for my home and theoretically use less pellets, or produce extra heat, either way I'd be winning... Do you think this would possible?

Too dangerous to put in house due to possible blow back if a leak occurs. There are vids of people putting it into propane tanks by pressurizing the gas into them. I have not done that yet but will study up more on it.

How would you define "blow back" like the fire going back down the line?

Gas builds where the fire is burning but if the burner has a leak, and has air ie oxygen then it will blow . It will send the fuel ie pellets up and rain down on you.

Oh, that's a good point! Could I put a one way valve in the system somewhere that could prevent such thing?

You have to make sure i'ts sealed right. And if not, figure out a way to do that.
