Today we hunt $640 in Unsearched Laundromat Quarters, $100 in Customer Wrapped Dimes, and $50 in Customer Wrapped Nickels. This hunt was a lot of fun! Enjoy!

I wonder if you got any of the quarters I had to turn in to the bank. Three years ago my father passed away and we had been collecting state quarters for decades. We weren’t looking for errors or even separating them by mint. We were just putting all of each state into single wrappers. A little over a year after he passed away, I fell into severe money trouble. And much to my heartbreak, I had to turn in most of our collection. I went through any of the ones that had known errors and ended up keeping a handful of them. Any state that was very low mintage I also set aside. But I turned in the rest. Easily over $3000 in state quarters over the course of four months. I hope you and people like you were some of the beneficiaries of that. I really do. Thanks for collecting. 💙💙💙

So sorry to hear your father passed. Coin collecting is a wonderful hobby to share with a parent or with your children. My kids ebb and flow through this hobby with me. When they were really little they would occasionally be hard in a livestream or even help sometimes. Perhaps I did come across some of the quarters in this hunt or one of my previous hunts. Did my first hunt today. Bank had a bag of 72.50 halves in a plastic bag. Didnt think I would find anything. Found 7 40% and one 90%. I think I am hooked now!

Nice. I do so bad typically with dimes. I did 4 boxes at the beginning of the year and found ZERO! I think my last 2-3 customer hunts I found at least 1.

@@GASilverHunter I never find in a box. I only find on customer wrap. I have to banks that seem to get crushed with dines from liquor stores. So that’s where I focus my time for dimes.

I’ve completed my state albums. I lack one Territory and one National Park series. All my shortages are Denver quarters. My ratio for Philadelphia versus Denver runs about 8 to 1. I have 5 out of 10 of the W’s. Nice hunt.

I am in Atlanta and the 2009s-2012 Denver are the toughest to come by. W's have slowed but the last few hunts I have found at least 2 per hunt.

Last weekend I went through $100 in nickels, nothing. I did find a W 2019 American Memorial. But the big find I had today was 13 90% silver proof halves and 2 .999 silver proofs 2019 and 2020 Kennedys with a roll of broken mint sets clads. I feel for the man who's collection was stolen to make my find possible. Must have lost over a grand easy.

This happened to me but I found a 1924 S with barely any date but with a montage of 1.43 million I’m super happy! 50$ at VG-10 Is good enough for me. It was also accompanied with a 1906 v nickel in the same roll!!!

You seem to be finding the buffalo nickels quite a bit in customer wrapped rolls, sucks that you had to nic-a-date a semi-key. Glad you're scoring on dimes too!

And its even worse that it came out so sloppy that I nic-a-dated way more than I needed to. Still a cool hole filler. Wish I didn't have to do that to it. Even partial date would have been awesome.

Nice hunt. I didn't know that laundromats used nickels and dimes anymore. Mine takes quarters and dollar coins. Anyway still a nice hunt.

Just the quarters were from a laundromat. The rest of the coins were random customer returns if I recall.

I dont know why you guys only nicadate the date or mint mark. I get it, it devalues the coin, but if you're already going to nicadate the date, why not just dip the whole coin and reveal more of the detail? It's better than plugging in a coin into the book with the date all bright, but the rest of the coin slick. And it doesn't devalue it any further.
