Gaslow Refillable LPG System Will it fit and Is It Worth IT?

Moving from CalorGas swappable bottles of LPG Propane gas to a refillable system is something we've wanted to get done for a while. We had the GasIt system on out last motorhome with a larger 11 Kg bottles which usually lasted for a month on each bottle. A very cost effective way to use Gas / Propane in a Motohome.
We've been using the Calor Gas 6Kg swappable bottles for the last three years since we took delivery of the Carabus 600K.
These has always been a little bit problematic in that they only JUST fit in the LPG Locker doorway and we have to do some fancy "jiggling" to get them both in, standing upright and strapped in with the safety straps.
The GasLow system (same as GasIt) means that we get the same 2X 6Kg bottles but we'll never have to take them out when we run out of gas. We can also refill then at LPG pumps across UK and Europe and well as the added advantage of being able to refill them when they're partially empty.

Hi, yes the Calor Gas exchange thing just is not available in Europe but LPG pumps are plentiful. ❤️❤️❤️

Our van, Rollerteam 696, came with a 15kg Gaslo system factory installed and I have to agree its the best gas system we have had on any van we've owned and great when in France and Spain as so many fuel stops sell LPG/GPL, a little more problematic in the UK but most our touring is done in Europe

Had a bad experience with Calor gas last week, switched of the heater and regulator then removed regulator from the bottle, when doing so the whole contents expelled into the room. Luckily it didn’t ignite as there was a candle burning

Yes, we’ve had a leaky bottle of two from Calor. How awful to have that happen though. Glad nothing worse happened 👍😀😎

The whole thing including 3 adapters, 2 x full of gas 6Kg all fining etc. £975 at Heart of England Motorhomes Near Daventry.

You mentioned topping up if you see an opportunity. Beware I topped up about £5 but was caught with a £10 minimum delivery charge by the retailer
