Once again I am going back to the beautiful Mellieha, more precisely Qammieha area. I will be trekking down to sea level and trek along the rugged coastline of Qammieh. Beautiful peaceful area, only problem was how strong the sun was. A really peaceful area.

Proset Pierre. Keep up your diet! You could reach the road to Qammiegh by taking the road on the left behind those green summer houses at the far end of the bay. After you pass a cow farm there is a road on the right leading up to the path to Qammiegh. Such a beautiful unspoilt area. Thank you for all your vlogs. Proset again. Ray Cutajar

THE SCENERY TAKES YOUR BREATH AWAY 🌬️ 😮 😊. Beautiful coastline Pierre 🧗🌊. Glad you made it in that horrible heat 😅 ☀️. I'm PLEASED to see that memorial bench been fixed. If you remember Pierre, after you pointed out the vandalism to this bench, I wrote to Lovin Malta about it who in turn, I'm told, wrote to Mellieha Council. PROSET ALL 👏. Hi Pierre, thanks for sharing your trek with us. Re your question about trekking in summer , I usually take a break around July and August as it gets to be too hot, unless I go somewhere like Buskett where I know I can find a lot of shade. I recall I was doing exactly the same route you took but in reverse something like 35 years ago and I was down by the sea at the very tip where the coastline turns south, I was about to walk past two boulders next to each other, I looked again and one of the boulders was actually the desiccated corpse of a bull! About Ta Tuta cave, I’ve always known it referred to as il-Latmija in the past. It is only recently that someone put up “ta tuta cave”on google maps. Maybe someone from Mellieha can clarify this point. Oh and congratulations on losing weight.

Well done you, losing six kilos. You do not look silly in the hat, better than getting sunstroke. My goodness it looks very hot. I used to go to Ghawdex alot, so know how hot it can be, too much sometimes for me. Keep up the good work with your weight loss and your lovely films of Malta. I also like to hear your accent, my late partner was from Ghawdex and I miss the way you talk

I parked near Red Tower Mellieha, around 30min - 45min. AS with filming I always loose lot of time :)

You can also start the trek from behind of the last of the green boathouses at the beginning of the hill from Ghadira to Cirkewwa. After a while keep to the left up a hill towards Qammieh.
