We had some issues but figured it out and we were able to do the first official start of the 2.5L Swap Turbo NC!

I'm in the exact same boat as you lol. Blew the 2.0. hole in both sides. Just started my 2.5L and I didn't even have the crank sensor plugged in lol. Once plugged, turned right on. Any explanation on how your 2.0 let go? I never really had a good answer for what caused mine to knock then blow.

Dang! Yeah not 100% sure what made mine let go other than I know the early 2.0s don’t handle boost very well

What ecu are you running and if stock how are you tuning the stock ecu do you have a piggyback or something?

Hey man I have some questions for my very own 2.5 swap! What exhaust did you use? Did you use the 2.0 exhaust with the 2.5? And you just use the 2.5 head that comes with the 2.5 correct?

What’s up man! I would join the 2.5 NC group on FB, there is a whole parts list and everything you need to do the swap on there, that’s what I used to do mine, you use the entire 2.5 motor minus the oil pan, use 2.0 oil pan, exhaust will work yes from 2.0
