These are very high quality hoses, I got two from TechnoRV, before I saw this video. Great product!! Thanks Eric!

I've been waiting for these! I purchased my Gas Stops months ago but couldn't install them without the 90° connection.

Yes! I need these! I purchased my GasStops from you last year and have dealt with the tight cover fit and bent hose issue since then. I was just about to visit a local propane dealer about creating a custom right angle adapter when you released this video. I just ordered two of the 18" 90-deg GasGear hoses. Hopefully the installation will be easy as what you showed!

@@Technorv Just installed on my 2020 Outdoors RV 280KVS travel trailer. Easy peasy! Now the cover fits without forcing and bending those original hoses.

I like your video but isn't pipe dope recommended for gas connections?
@herveyforward59563 жыл бұрын
Rather than bend back the hose you can get a 90 degree brass adapter for the regulator and you can also swivel the propane tanks right or left to allow a cleaner less kinked looked install. Airstreams owners have a VERY TIGHT space to work in but it can be done and look clean.

So which one fit better without a super tight bend in the hose, 12 inch or 18 inch??
@Technorv3 жыл бұрын
We ended up using the 18-inch hose.

On the ¼" converter, is that needed due to the thread type not the size?
@Technorv3 жыл бұрын
It is actually the size, even though the conversion is 1/4 to 1/4 it is actually a different size. You would certainly be able to tell when you go to install the Gas Gear hose. Eric

Is it recommended to use gas tape on connections?
@litzdog9113 жыл бұрын
I don't think you need gas teflon tape. I didn't use any and no leaks.
@Technorv3 жыл бұрын
IF you need to use the inverted flare adapter then tape is recommended, but if not, then it is not necessary. On my install, I did not need the adapter. Eric

Eric be careful routing the hose the way you show the hose is next to the side of the tank handle. The up and down side to side motion will put a hole in the hose after awhile. just a thought.
