22:40 Lumiere says, you MAY move A HERO to a new location. Firstly your wife didn’t need to do this because it says may, and secondly, Lumiere and Maurice’s invention would have remained at Beast’s castle, only Beast could have been moved if she did chose to use the ability.

I think Gaston was able to defeat the beast in minute 21, because each of wolves had a strength of three reduced by one through the invention. Meaning that the three wolves have a total strength of six and being able to vanquish the beasr
