Fun fact: it is possible for Ursula to perform two Fate actions in a single turn. If she and no Heroes are at The Shore, she can play Grow Giant twice to perform two Fate actions.

I really enjoyed watching you guys play Villainous, I just binged through the list! I found out about this game recently and have really got into it, so it was fun to watch you play and learn about the different villains in the game. Excited to try this game for myself and see Bigger and Badder played whenever it's around.

11:50 Ursula has a card, which allows you to use your Fate action on another spot, but only an adjacent one and she doesn´t have her two fates at adjacent locations. So it hypothetically works, just not with her board

Yeah I've seen that around, and we've talked a little bit about introducing draft into this game in particular. Drafting is always an interesting mechanic and can be a lot of fun! Will have to look into that for the future!

Technically, if you move to the shore and play two copies of "grow giant" when playing as Ursula, you can fate twice in a single turn as her cards simply tell you to "perform an action on an adjacent location." So, there is a double-fate exploit in the game!

That's not possible in a 5 or 6 player game, because a player cannot be fated twice in a row it's against the rules

Hey! I love watching your Villainous playthroughs, and I'm so glad you two are back. In my experience with 1v1, Ratigan is one of the slower villains. If you guys want to try him again, you could pair him up with villains like Pete or Cruella. Perhaps that'll be more of a level playing field. Queen of Hearts in 1v1 can be super fast haha :)

Yeah that's true. To be fair, I did misplay Ratigan a little bit in that game. The Airship should have been played to the Secret Lair in preparation for the Robot Queen. Additionally, both Fidget's List and the Robot Queen were at the bottom of the deck. So, I got off to an incredibly slow start. It is what it is, unfortunately. Appreciate the support! - Dan

If the robot queen is discarded Ratigans objective is Defeat Basil. Your opponent can choose not to play Basil during a fate action. So it is impossible to win once the robot queen is discarded right? Or do I miss a crucial detail hahahaha

Negative. You are correct initially that once the Robot Queen is discarded from Ratigan's realm, his objective flips to defeating Basil. You're also correct in stating that the fating player can choose to not play Basil during the fate action. The crucial piece that you're missing is that Basil is the ONLY way for the Robot Queen to be discarded from Ratigan's realm. Basil's card states, "When Basil is played or moved, you may discard one Item from his new location." There are other fate cards that can move other Hero cards, but Basil is the ONLY way to remove the Robot Queen from Ratigan's realm.

Lol I always thought enlarge heroes couldn't be killed unless using the shrink and putting back normal the hero i see that being a misconception on my part

😁 Yeah good thing you don't have to shrink an enlarged hero before defeating them! The "nice" thing about dealing with enlarged heroes versus the "normal" sized heroes, is that they can be defeated with allies from each location that are located at. So if they are rotated and covering up actions at the Hedge Maze and the fate action at Tugley Wood for instance, she could use her allies at both of those locations in a vanquish action.

When I play against Queen of Hearts, I spend every single turn fating her. No matter the cost. You honestly have no choice in my opinion. She's by far the easiest Villain in the entirety of Villainous. Every time I've watched you play though, you unfortunately keep drawing Down the Rabbit Hole before Alice. Down the Rabbit Hole is the best card in there. Was great watching but, I wish I could've seen more of Ratigan as I haven't picked up that pack yet. :(

I don’t understand how you’re playing gears for free? Because the effect of the other gears only takes in effect when they are discarded and tools subtracts the cost of one. So shouldn’t he have been playing 2 power for the other two gears?

The card "Tools" is in play which states, "The cost to play Items is reduced by 1 power." So since "Gears" has a printed cost of 1, with "Tools" in play, that gets reduced to 0 cost.
