She is a beautiful ship indeed. I couldn't resist. I gave her the white and gold paint with NDB30s to match. You didn't spend enough time in 1st person when flying her . . . . her engines sing! Hadn't tried cargo, thanks for that warning but the voice of the ship's computer is so quiet that you can't really hear it either. Two fixable problems on an otherwise wonderful vessel. Thanks Foxy, I hope Wifey likes the Syulen too. 😄👍

@@diegomolinaf The pitch varies even at a constant speed and yes, it is indeed a pleasure to fly it. So unique, especially for a starter ship, although I don't envy a new player having to learn the basics of SC whilst learning to fly the Syulen at the same time. :)

These paints show the sort of quality we SHOULD be paying for, whereas half the bland colours like black or white should just be default things you can do at the ship yards for credits in-game.

the Syulen design concept is of highst order, however it looks somewhat less refined than other ships or not enough time spent to get more out of the potential of such radical idea, but it is still a master piece of design. It doesnt need to super good since it is a alien-human hybrid and it works great !

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna upgrade to this ship from the 100i is it a good idea? It looks so cool has 2 shields instead of 1, 3 s3 weapons instead of 2 but flies slower Idc about the price either since it's a cheap upgrade

here are some considerations: 100i can fit in a carrack or 890J. But the Syulen looks very cool and with better fire power.

I spent a while thinking why would anyone buy this when a Nomad has 4 times the cargo and also has the same three hardpoints and living accommodation then I realised that with its superb agility (so no need to downgrade to S2 gimballed weapons) and acceleration & braking and long range, it is the perfect ship for exploring Pyro. Where a Nomad would be easily run down and destroyed by pirates, the Syulen can be at 1200 m/s within a couple of seconds and out of range so it can jump away. If the attacker is small it has a better chance of winning a fight as well.

Yeah I totally agree, this little alien ship is quite flyable and powerful, even though her cargo capability is truly lackluster.

When I first saw this ship I thought it looked kind of cool, but I was kind of dissapointed at the cargo capacity as well as the cramped feeling inside, especially considering how big this looks to be. At first I was not going to buy it, but then I re-thought it and after actually flying it a bit I actually like it a lot However, the three missiles I would say is not a bug, but a fact that you have 3x missile racks, one on each "flipper" so launching one missile from each seem very much like intended.
