And since reduction in height is already given we must just write the magnitude of true strain for reduction and not signs

And sir we know.. in forging always height decreases... And since it has already mentioned reduction... So why negative?

Sir in Forging there is always a height reduction and if we go by the formula as u have solved it must be positive right..Why negative..??please reply sir

I think forging wle me ans positive hi hoga sir because true strain =ln(lf/li) height decrease hogy toh length increase hogy na toh positivs hi hoga answer?
