I don't want them to change it. I absolutely loved it in story mode, and wanted to go back and do it. This is for skillers, so for people who don't want to have to try hard to be able to do things in the game. I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't shit on this, since there is no additional content for players like me.

Skillers already *have* afk moneymaking content though. Like primal ore, Divination, ectoplasm, etc. Thanks to multiboxers, things like necro runes and dinarrows (minus shafts) are much more profitable due to inputs needed. Making a *boss* AFK on release is a mistake.

@@pondracek you should try the encounter first before passing judgement. It's much more like BGH, and requires you to pay attention to complete it. Not afk at all.

@@acidinmywine I've already tried the encounter as part of the quest. If you build the barrier, you can just harvest a single node and then dunk the boss to win. That's quick enough to ignore every blast without any hp boosts.

The spirit attraction potion will likely work with the scripture to catch the souls like it does for other scriptures

Always happy to see another night skybox and the overrides/rc offhand will look great with the lunar fury/lunite stuff I realized with the offhand dowser you'll have to choose between the divine-o-matic or the offhand which will be interesting. Also I don't think it'll be useful at ancestral or positive/negative energy since there's no rifts with either which is alittle disappointing but makes sense

I'm honestly SO excited for this boss. it will probably be the first time I do a boss on release, and I enjoyed the quest version, so hopefully I get lucky and get an early drop that I can cash in for a pretty penny. Gotta get out of my poor person bracket xD

I do enjoy the wow swirlies were getting to show an attack and i hope they bring it to the other bosses or at least the yellow bar so you do not need to mentally count the autos.

the runescore one seems rough for those of us who are achievement hunters and barely have any acheivements left to do. I hope they have it auto unlock if you have a crazy high amount like 30k rscore or something like i do.

There is more to it, there is gonna be a "hardmode" from what i remember from one of the streams. And as you say, it was basically story mode so it'll scale to "normal mode" on actual release. Don't forget as you know there's a 2nd variant of the pet, so presumably it's either KC based or by doing X kc in the "hard mode" or a greater challenge

the 2nd variant pet is from 1000 kc and I believe what they mean by hardmode is something about changing the speed of the fight. I noticed during the quest the shard pieces mentioned something about this.

The boss ain't to the intensity of Croesus and I think it's a good thing. Much like in PvM, you need to have easy, medium, and hard bosses for all types of players. Looking forward to the boss and event!!
