Looking into the lore of these demons, they are scary tough, even the weakest demons are far more powerful than the in game visuals let on. Like "Holy shit how did what remainders of Humanity survived a few years fighting the demons without Doomguy there." Scary. Doom's Universe is comparable to the SCP universe when you're an ordinary person and not Doomguy.
