I've always loved the fact that people don't really portray The Doomslayer's movement the same as in the games. In most animations he walks slow and is intimidating, which is damn cool, but it would be refreshing to see him just absolutely booking it every now and again. Great animation though! Brightened up my day for sure!

I feel like the Doomslayer was a little surprised to see Steve in the Nether/Hell, and mainly gave him the Super Shotgun because he figured that if Steve had the guts to go to the Nether with just a diamond helmet and sword, he was a man he could relate to and even respect, hence why he gifted his weapon of choice. Plus, knowing someone else is slaying demons may make Doomslayer just a little bit happy.

@@derrickdaniels3955 Given the fact that Link regularly fights demons, evil, and Ganondorf- who goes by the monicker of "dark lord"- I would say they would get along fine. Link's universe would be like a vacation spot for Doom Slayer, in all likelihood. Link may have a little trouble in Doom Slayer's universe given he would be using outdated, albiet magical, equipment to fight demons, some of which have cybernetic enhancements and demon magic of their own. He would have the courage to do it though, having a piece of the Triforce and all.

Well, human turned into demigod with the divinity machine, and was more trapped in hell and was "rescued" by the people of a different universe instead of willingly jumping through it, but other than that yeah, pretty much canon, especially if you think of the nether as a subsection of hell, which it kind of is.

I don't know if Steve would be afraid of the slayer. He also slaughters mobs a lot, and may only be afraid of the gun he possibly doesn't understand. But Steve can lift over 23 universes in his pocket and still sprint like he is carrying nothing. His lifting strength is definitely higher and all this video makes me want is a Steve vs the doomslayer animation

That theory has been debunked, Steve doesn't actually lift anything because all blocks fall at the same speed, you can't apply real world physics to a game like Minecraft, blocks don't have any weight. What he stores in his inventory is stored in a pocket dimension called hammerspace.

This would be an interesting battle. Steve can hold tons of pounds and still run fast, he’s very agile and can use potions and golden apples. He also has powerful armor and weapons.
