Sir in Micromanometer(differential type) in the diagram ... when P1 pressure applied to left limb the gauge press of water becomes (density of water)*(g)*(del h + del z).. but the surface at which the pressure P1 is applied will also descend (del z) downward

sir you have used wrong sign convention in inverted u tube manometer problem it should be pa-rgh1=pb-rgh1-Rgh2

No, it's right, he is using Pascal law..not the method which he has taught in previous class using sign convention..

sir, in inverted u tube differential manometer problems we are taking upper limits of column as reference and then we equating pressure in both the limbs, so as we are moving from bottom to top hence formula should be like we have to subtract gauge pressure from point A and B.

If density of manometric fluid is less than density of both fluids in the limbs ..then manometric fluid must be filled into the limbs..?

Sir as u said that to measure small pressure difference, in inverted u-tube manometer manometric fluid of less density is used.sir my question is that why we can't use manometric fluid of less density in u-tube differential manometer to measure low pressure difference

If we use low density manometetic fluid in u tube manometer then it flow into the tank and reaches top of the tank and it never stay in the limb then how can we measure the reasing from manometet that's y we use low dense fluid in inverted u tube manometer.I think crct wt i said.Thank you

Your question is similar to why we can't use high density manometric fluid in inverted u tube manometer?Anylise this question u will know it not possible to read becoz of high density of manometric fluid in inverted u tube manometer

I think if we use low denser fluid in simple differential manometer, the manometric fluid (low denser fluid) will get compressed due to pressure of the fluid as the weight force act downwards. So they inverted it filled the low denser fluid at the upper side. I think this may be the one reason

I have one doubt that why the shape of inverted manometer is in inverted shape is there any specific reason for its shape It could be in normal U-tube shape but why it is in inverted shape

@@manasranjansahoo5410 For measuring very small pressure difference, inverted u tube manometer is used. Answer to your question- The lighter manometric liquid will rise up so inverted type is used as in simple tube the lighter liquid will come out in the pipe where pressure is to be measured due to its light weight.
