To be more precise if you are preparing for GATE then you should watch full video as conceptual questions (like what is least possible number represented using IEEE 754) will be asked in GATE.... If you are preparing for college sem exams then you could just end at 10:49

@shreyashdeogade88696 жыл бұрын
Glad you seen 255 is the largest binary number that can be represented with 8 bits. This is because the numbers start from 0. In order to represent 256, you need 9bits.

I think it's 0 01111111 00000001100....0. after expanding 1.0058
@arunsprasad39255 жыл бұрын
sign ->0 for positive .0059×2^8=1.5104 so we need to make value (127-8=119) in 8 bit exponent {01110111} we need to make a 1.5104 in mantissa 1 is already exist so .5104 is required. there is a minor error in the value you'll check in this site www.h-schmidt.net/FloatConverter/IEEE754.html

I would like to suggest you to organize your lecture in more systematic way. You are taking too much effort and too many subject jargons to explain a thing which is commendable but it cause confusion. Also I suggest use a bigger board so that u need not erase precious notes. Having said that this is all prerogative.
