sir, i have a doubt. in CH3 radical, we say that 4 epr lines are observed bcoz of electron interaction with hydrogen, i.e., hyperfine splitting, if BH3 radical interacts with hydrogen, then is it hyperfine or superhyperfine, bcoz in this case, even B is active nuclei which was not the case with C?
@chemshort52256 жыл бұрын
first generation interaction is hyperfine right, so i am confused?

Thankyou sir. Time :27:19 Sir, you said there are 4 hydrogen so we get 80 lines but sir according to( n+1)formula we get 4+1=5, hence 20 multiply by 5=100,so sir should we not get 100 lines instead of 80 . Please correct me if I am wrong.
@aasthaaggarwal3486 жыл бұрын
Gate chemistry yes sir, I understood this that experimentally it comes out to be 44 but if we theoretically calculate, you said it comes out to be 80,sir I am asking it should not be 100 lines theoretically?
