Thank you Sir. one question here is, whether [Cu(H2O)4(NH3)2], is high spin or low spin complex? since both SF and WF ligands are present.

Drago's rule was again new fr me.ur every lecture is so valuable actually.i learnt so much f esr in my pg and thought that i am good enough in it,but after watching drago's rule,i found myself wrong.thanku so much sir.

When NH3 radical consider then H' s spin is interact with electronic spin but in case of {Cu(NH3)4}2+ H's spin can't interact with electronic spin why??

sir,napthalene radical shows 2^7 lines in esr spectra and napthalene anion shows 25 lines..

Sir, in the last question which you have discussed , why we haven't taken G.I into picture? like the complex would form cis and trans isomers and that would lead to 1020 lines. Please try to clearify my doubt.

sir, i have a doubt. in CH3 radical, we say that 4 epr lines are observed bcoz of electron interaction with hydrogen, i.e., hyperfine splitting, if BH3 radical interacts with hydrogen, then is it hyperfine or superhyperfine, bcoz in this case, even B is active nuclei which was not the case with C?

sir june 2017 question regarding ESR, (R3 Ge)2 on photolysis gives a radical which shows ESR spectrum . The ESR signals carrying the signature of 73 Ge (I=9/2) are in terms of a)nine lines b)ten lines c)two lines d)one line .But im getting it as 19 lines sir what's my mistake Im not getting

Ti(3) will also under go JT(Zin) .. as the effect is not so pronounced therefore not taking this under consdrsn?

Sir CH2 free radical and D both of give 3 ESR line in cpds but why CH2 free radical intensity ratio is 1:2:1 and D intensity ratio is 1:1:1 I am little confused sir

Sir u told that Pascal ∆ is valid for I=1/2 and non pascalian ∆ for I=1. What about other spins like 3/2, 5/2? Should we follow Pascal ∆ for 3/2, 5/2......??

No you can't follow PASCAL triangle for other than half

For 3/2, 5/2 nd other more, use only non pascal. Pascal is for only 1/2

Jahn teller distortion is not considered in [Cu(NH3)4]2+ but in [Cu(H2O)]2+ it is considered, so taken two environments for Cu in the later one. why? Can u please tell me

Bcoz H in NH3 is alpha and in complex it is beta. N beta H doesn't show lines

sir i want to ask u why u dont appy tge dragos rule for NH3 radical and i want to ask u in organic molecule u say find the different kinds of hydrogen atom ..the procedure is same as we do in NMR for calculating the diff types of hydrogen and one more ques sir the one having nuclear spin other than 1 canwe apply the non pasclain formula and those of spin other than one and half can we apply the rule of pasclain triangle ...

Thankyou sir. Time :27:19 Sir, you said there are 4 hydrogen so we get 80 lines but sir according to( n+1)formula we get 4+1=5, hence 20 multiply by 5=100,so sir should we not get 100 lines instead of 80 . Please correct me if I am wrong.

Gate chemistry yes sir, I understood this that experimentally it comes out to be 44 but if we theoretically calculate, you said it comes out to be 80,sir I am asking it should not be 100 lines theoretically?

For non. Pas. I=1, n=2 So no. of line will be= 2*2*1+1=5(line) but you shows intensity= 1:2:2:1=4 lines. How it is possible. Pls tell
