In amides, conjugation still persists, which does not happens in other alpha beta unsaturated compounds.
@shrishailshirol61316 жыл бұрын
Awesome video Sir. There is one doubt at 21:52, Shouldn't the logic of SP2 carbon(greater the S character => greater the electronegativity and therfore C=O bond strenght increasing) be applicable to other to conjugated carbonyls also. Why this reason only for Amides?

thank you sir

pie sigma pie lonepair conjaugation dominates over pie sigma pie conjugation in amides we can also apply the same on carboxylic acids and say that the freq increases as oxygen also like nitrogen has lone pairs .

Sir.....I have doubt in NMR.....in 1,1,2-trichloroethane, I think area ratio is 1:2 ....but in PAVIA there is 2:1...so I am confused...What is right answer??
@vp47376 жыл бұрын
I think ..If we look from 2 chlorine substituted then it's 1:2 & if from other side then 2:1.....actually in my university ...this topic is not started till....& I read it on my own.....that:s why I am asking..
